Accessibility, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Respect
Our team members, the people we work with every day at Origin Editorial and Origin Reports, are integral to the work we do. We believe our values of Independence, Collaboration, and Knowledge cannot be fully realized without regard to the Accessibility, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Respect (ADEIR) of our team members.
Independence:
We understand team members work independently and without hesitation when they feel respected and their work limitations are accommodated. Independence is increased when team members feel supported and know that their diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and approaches are valued.
Collaboration:
We understand collaboration is only successful when team members feel respected and included. Collaboration is enhanced when team members bring diverse points of view, have suitable access to contribute to collaborations, and feel they are being treated fairly.
Knowledge:
We understand team members learn best when they have appropriate and equitable access to information. Knowledge is enriched when different view points of team members are included and appreciated.
We are a remote workforce, but this fact does not release us from the duty of achieving the principles set forth by the Coalition for Diversity & Inclusion in Scholarly Communications (C4DISC). We fully believe in these tenets and are committed to their fulfilment.
